Tom Simpson has been a professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) since 2006. Prior to then, he was a senior official at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, closely involved with monetary and financial policy. During his career, Dr. Simpson has provided technical assistance to central banks around the world, including in Iraq, China, and Russia. He has been faculty adviser to Ratio Christi at UNCW and has published widely, including Capitalism Versus Socialism: What Does the Bible Have to Say? (Kindle, 2020).
