Rethinking The Jewish Messiah

How Scripture Points in Only One Direction

Brian J. Crawford, DMin

In Rethinking the Jewish Messiah, Brian Crawford, biblical scholar with Chosen People Ministries, reexamines the case for Jesus being Israel’s messiah. Crawford argues that much of what Jewish people are taught about Jesus is neither fair nor accurate and is often assumed to be made up by Christians. Crawford avoids Christian bias altogether, returning to the first century and messianic expectations at the time, situating Jesus in his true historic context. The ultimate proof, Crawford maintains, is who best fulfills what is written about the Messiah in the Hebrew Scripture and argues persuasively that no one except Jesus could possibly qualify.
